Special Event: Mariachi Los Camperos De Nati Cano, Sunday Jan 31st, 12 to 1:30 pm in cooperation with UCSB Arts & Lectures Viva! @ Camper Park. Traditional meal prepared by Camper Park residents. Dahlia and Chapel Court residents invited to attend.
February - Heart Art: Paint - a Bag of Hearts. Make Cards.
AfterSchool Workshops 3 to 5 pm: Feb 5, Friday @ Dahlia: Feb 12, Friday @ Camper Park
Research use of "heart" image in Mexican, South American & North American Art.
March - Collage Paintings - Make a collage on canvas, matte board, palm bark with paper, fabric, buttons, beads, oil pastels, paint, glue, et al.

Study collage work of Rodolfo Morales.
Spring Break - Make fabric rabbits - & - Paint rabbits on clay plates.
2-day Workshops - March 29 & 30, Mon & Tues @ Dahlia:
March 31& April 1, Wed & Thurs @ Camper Park.
Study traditional Mexican fabric folding craft. Research & study rabbits as depicted on Patzcuaro pottery, drawn/painted by artists such as Francisco Toledo and made in pre-conquest times and presently on display in museums created by Tamayo and Rivera.
April 11 - Sunday, Danza @ Dahlia Special in cooperation with UCSB Arts & Lectures Viva! @ Dahlia. Traditional meal prepared by Dahlia residents. Camper Park & Chapel Court residents invited.
April & May - T-shirt painting projects - for moms or dads. Bracelet making project for moms.

June 17 & 18, Thurs & Fri - Collage at the beach - take photos - study tradition of "Flowers and Sand" art installations in Oaxaca (Mexico) & work by Andy Goldsworthy (American).
Summer: 4 day Workshops @ Dahlia & Camper Park - Dates & Times to be announced.
Book Project: Each student participant will be given a "page". They will choose the subject, layout, illutrations (drawings, paintings, photos or prints), text, etc. Ideas for subject include: Traditional recipes with illustrations of food, kitchen, chef, etc. Traditional clothing or hairstyles or customs. Ancestors. Places. Celebrations. et al. Book will be assembled & printed. Each participant will receive a book.
Pillar Project: All pages created for the Book Project will be mounted on community pillar in the style of Rodolfo Morales.
Dance Project: Elena Rios and her group will rekindle the joy of Danza Azteca. Ayacaxlis, shields and head-dresses made in 2009 will be used again.

"Runway" - Student show featuring traditional clothing, costumes, masks & hair styles
November - AfterSchool Workshops @ Dahlia & Camper Park
Project based on the flower and sand street art of Oaxaca - Tin Ornament Project
December - Virgin of Guadalupe Celebrations @ Dahlia Camper Park
